The Springboks will be fielding a makeshift-looking team in Saturday night's Tr-Nations Test against the All Blacks in Wellington, but their assistant coach Dick Muir is tipping a fierce contest at the breakdown.
Muir says many of the team are being thrown in the deep end but he's sure they'll make the most of their opportunities.
The 20-year-old utility back Patrick Lambie will be making his first test start at fullback, and says he couldn't be more highly motivated.
Lambie can also play first five.
