Cricket identities heap praise on England

Cricket identities have heaped praised on the rejuvenated England cricket team after two crushing test victories over India.

Andrew Strauss's team is on the verge of displacing India as the world's leading test playing nation, and they're being described by the former England captain Nasser Hussain as the best England team he's seen - an amazing set of players with no weak link, embarking on what might become a very special journey.

The great Australian leg spinner Shane Warne has compared the current England side with the Australian teams he helped dominate world cricket.

England have won seven of their last eight test series.

Meanwhile the Indian media have poured scorn on their team saying Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men should never have been ranked the top Test side.

India's good news is that their dashing opening batsman Virender Sehwag is on his way to rejoin his team after recovering from shoulder surgery.
