The New Zealand tennis player Marina Erakovic has been beaten in the second round of the Carlsbad WTA tournament in Southern California.
Erakovic, who went through qualifying was beaten in straight sets by Frenchwoman Virginie Razzano 6-1, 6-3.
Razzano, the world number 73, put a lot of pressure on Erakovic's serve.
Erakovic is building towards the US Open at the end of the month.
