New Zealand sailor Andrew Murdoch has taken the lead in the men's single-handed Laser class at the Weymouth International regatta in England, after a second and third placing.
Overnight leader Tom Slingsby of Australia fell back to second after a 13th place, six points behind, with a further twelve point gap back to third place.
New Zealand's Star sailors Hamish Pepper and Craig Monk made a strong start to competition with a fifth and a second for second place at the regatta, which doubles as a London Olympic test event.
Both New Zealand's RS:X windsurfers are eighth after Jon-Paul Tobin's fifth and 11th finishes while Natalia Kosinska had a seventh and an 11th.
The team now has a rest day.
