The England goalkeeper Joe Hart has signed a new five-year contract with the Premier League football club Manchester City that will keep him at Eastlands until 2016.
Hart joined City in 2006 and has since made 121 starts for the club, forcing Republic of Ireland international keeper Shay Given to move to top-flight rivals Aston Villa.
City, who finished third in the league last season, begin their new Premier League campaign at home to newly-promoted Swansea next Tuesday on as they bid to win their first English title since 1968.
