Tall Blacks beat Angola

The New Zealand men's basketball team has scored another upset at the Stankovic Cup in China, beating Angola 73-70.

The Tall Blacks came off a good win over China yesterday, while Angola had thrashed Australia in the final of the first week of the event last week.

New Zealand now play Russia in the final early tomorrow morning with 36 thousand dollars up for grabs for the winner.

In game one of the tournament the Tall Blacks lost by three points to the Russians.

Top scoring for the Tall Blacks was once again Kirk Penney with 17 including four three point shots in the second spell, while Tom Abercrombie finished with 14.
