The pressure is mounting for Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney after his National Rugby L:eague side Parramatta were hammered 56-6 by South Sydney last night.
Kearney's team has just 5 wins from 20 matches so far and they're in danger of claiming their first wooden spoon in 39 years.
The second-bottom Eels are now just a single point in front of Gold Coast and their clash with the Titans in the final round early next month is shaping up as a battle to avoid finishing last.
Kearney, who is in the first year of a 3-year deal with the club, says side's performance wasn't acceptable.
Meanwhile Souths are up to 9th and still have a slim chance of making the play-offs.
