Currie has no concerns about London security

New Zealand Olympic team chef de mission Dave Currie says he has no concerns at this stage about security for next year's Olympics.

Currie says he's seen very little evidence of the rioting that has hit parts of England this week including London.

Currie has been visiting a number of venues, which he says are impressive, and he doesn't think safety will be a problem next year.

200 representatives of National Olympic Committees, including Currie will start a conference tonight and he's sure security will be high on the agenda, but he also thinks the London organisers will provide a safe and secure environment next year.

Currie says London is the most prepared of any Games city he's been involved with.
