The former Adelaide Thunderbirds assistant coach Lisa Alexander has been appointed as the new coach of the Australia netball side.
She replaces Norma Plummer, who stood down from the role following Australia's win at the world champs in Singapore to become coach of the West Coast Fever in the trans-Tasman netball competition.
