Auckland golfer Lydia Ko has been knocked out of the US Amateur golf tournament in the second round of matchplay.
The 14-year-old world number one's dream of following Danny Lee and win the US Amateur was dashed by Stephanie Kono from Hawaii winning 3 and 2 at the Rhode Island Country Club near New York.
