Southland have scored a thrilling last minute try to beat North Harbour 25-23 in Invercargill and defend rugby's Ranfurly Shield.
Harbour were ahead with time up on the clock but they couldn't withstand the desperate Southland onslaught and the Stags captain Jamie McIntosh was a relieved man after the match.
Southland climb off the bottom of the ITM Premiership with the win.
