The American tennis player Serena Williams has scored back-to-back tournament victories with a 6-4 6-2 win over Samantha Stosur in the Rogers Cup final in Toronto.
The win comes after her success in California two weeks ago and is a boost ahead of the US Open, which begins at the end of the month.
Williams is currently ranked 80th in the world after being sidelined for a year by injury and illness.
But her return to form continued as she beat the world number 11 in 77 minutes.
Today's victory means she is set to move up to 31 in the new world rankings.
