The Wests Tigers and Kiwi league star Benji Marshall is due in court today to defend himself against an assault charge stemming from an incident in Sydney five months ago.
Marshall has pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a man in a McDonald's restaurant, just days after he'd been unveiled as the new face of the game at the launch of the new NRL season.
