The All Whites skipper Ryan Nelsen could return to action for his English Premiership football side Blackburn Rovers this week.
Nelsen missed Blackburn Rovers' successful battle against relegation at the end of last season after having knee surgery in April... and he's missed their first two matches in the new season.... they lost both.
However the 33-year-old defender is back to full training again, and manager Steve Kean says he is a prospect to return, either in their League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow or their Premiership match against Everton at the weekend.
