Athletics' new false start rule that sent the world's fastest man crashing out of the world championship 100 metres final has copped some flak from his rivals.
The American Walter Dix, who won the silver medal behind Bolt's countryman Yohan Blake, says the rule introduced last year is killing the event and he hopes the IAAF change it for next year's London Olympics.
Most sprinters want the rule either changed or modified, and last night's bronze medallist Kim Collins suggested they should at least give the field one false start.
