Several North Queensland Cowboys players are recovering from a nasty stomach bug as they prepare for Saturday night's key NRL match against the Warriors in Auckland.
Six players including their co-captains Matt Scott and Johnathan Thurston are on the mend as they continue their buildup to the Warriors match, which the Cowboys must win to have any chance of securing a home semi-final.
Coach Neil Henry has named an extended squad which will arrive in Auckland tomorrow.
