The England team will make a goodwill visit to Christchurch on the eve of the Rugby World Cup.
Martin Johnson's men were due to play pool matches against Argentina and Georgia in the city before the February 22nd earthquake led to the games being moved to Dunedin, where England begin their World Cup campaign against the Pumas on September 10.
Now Johnson, and several members of the England squad, are due to visit Christchurch on September 7th.
Johnson says the whole England squad was shocked by what took place in February and we wanted to show our support for the people of Christchurch who are getting back on their feet following such a tragic event,.
The All Blacks are due to be in Christchurch from September 17th to 20th while Australia will travel there on September 28th.
