Tevez set to stay at Man City

6:38 am on 3 September 2011

The Argentine striker Carlos Tevez says he has a love-hate relationship with Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini and is happy again in England.

Given time off while other players are on international duty, Tevez came home to Buenos Aires for a break as he was not called up to the Argentina team on a tour of Asia that included Friday's 1-nil win over Venezuela in a friendly in India.

Tevez says he and Mancini had had "clashes in every language but it's a love-hate relationship."

However Tevez says he's happy at City and won't be leaving the club anytime soon.

He had previously issued a statement saying he wanted to leave the club saying several times he did not like living in Manchester, nor did his family.
