Jorge Lorenzo led from start to finish to win the San Marino Motorcycle Grand Prix, ending Casey Stoner's run of three successive MotoGP wins.
Lorenzo's fellow Spaniard Dani Pedrosa took second place while the Australia finished third after claiming pole position for the 8th time this season.
Stoner's championship lead over Lorenzo has been cut to 35 points with five races remaining.
