The Sydney Roosters and Todd Carney's management are both denying a report yesterday, suggesting that a decision has already been made to tear up the troubled NRL star's contract.
The 2010 Player of the Year has had a year marred by a return to alcolohol-related problems, and he's been linked to a move to the French club Catalans.
The Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce says a decision would be made "in the next short period of time", and Carney's management company say they're working on a resolution this week.
