The Danish golfer Thomas Bjorn made it back-to-back victories when he claimed the European Masters title in Switzerland this morning with a spectaclar closing round of 62 at Crans-Sur Sierre.

The 40 year old's sensational finishing burst gave him a 20-under par total, a four stroke margin over Germany's world number five Martin Kaymer, and his third victory of the season.

The US Open champion Rory McIlroy finished in a three-way tie for third.

Michael Campbell tied for 25th with an 8-under par total and Mark Brown was well back in a tie for 61st on even par.
