USA finally beats NZ in women's hockey series

The United States women's hockey team has finally beaten New Zealand in the fourth match of the five-Test series in San Diego.

After losing the first three matches and the series to the Black Sticks, the Americans came back firing with a 5-3 win on Saturday.

The home team raced out to a 3-0 lead at half-time and added two more after the break while Katie Glynn scored twice for New Zealand, fellow Auckland striker Krystal Forgesson adding the other.

The Black Sticks play their last match against the USA on Monday.
