All Whites striker Rory Fallon has signed with Scottish Premier League football side Aberdeen, after impressing on trial at Pittodrie.

Fallon, who scored the headed goal against Bahrain which qualified New Zealand for last year's World Cup, was a free agent after being released by struggling English side Plymouth Argyle.

He's inked a two-year deal at Aberdeen and could play as soon as Sunday's match at home to Kilmarnock.

Fallon's old club Plymouth Argyle recorded a record seventh straight home defeat on the weekend to lie bottom of League Two, the English game's fourth division. They were relegated last season and have let a large number of players go - Fallon is the fourth former Plymouth player to move to Aberdeen.
