Four key All Blacks who missed Friday's World Cup win over Japan have trained in Christchurch and should be considered for Saturday's decisive pool match against France at Eden Park.

Skipper Richie McCaw, Dan Carter, Mils Muliaina and Israel Dagg all got through their work.

Dagg has revealed he ripped an abdominal muscle in last week's final training session.

All Blacks assistant coach Wayne Smith says Carter resumed kicking which is a good sign with his back niggle.

Number eight Kieran Read is also back running and is on track for the Canada game.
