Cleary plays down travel factor

The Warriors coach Ivan Cleary is playing down any travel effects ahead of his side's National Rugby League preliminary final in Melbourne.

The Warriors match against the Storm will be the fifth of their last six games to be played in Australia.

And the top qualifiers have had a week off while the Warriors had to rally for a last gasp win over Wests Tigers.

But coach Cleary says all the travel's become routine and in some ways the team is a tighter unit for it.

Manly will face the winner of Saturday night's clash in next weekend's NRL grand final after the Sea Eagles dispatched the Broncos 26-14 in the first preliminary final at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday.
