The Warriors have beaten the Storm 20-12 in Melbourne to reach their second National Rugby League Grand final where they'll play Manly.

They dominated the minor premiers for most of the match but led only 14-12 at half time and couldn't score again until three minutes from full time.

Halfback Shaun Johnson finally unlocked the Storm defence racing across field, throwing repeated dummies until he found centre Lewis Lewis Brown who scored.

Five-eighth James Maloney converted the try to make the margin too great for Melbourne to peg back in two minutes.

Coach Ivan Cleary, who will take the head job with Penrith next year, was delighted with his side's composure under relentless pressure and the way they controlled .

possession and field position in the second half.
