Warriors capture the imagination of a nation

The fact that the New Zealand Prime Minister will cross the ditch in the middle of a Rugby World Cup to see the Warriors attempt to take the National Rugby League trophy off Australian shores for the first time shows just how they've captured the imagination of a nation.

Key says it's been a tough 12 months with the earthquakes and the Pike River mine disaster, and thinks that's one of the reasons the boys are playing so well.

He says it's been a long time coming for the Warriors to reach another Grand Final position and says they're playing with the spirit and heart of the nation on their shoulders.
