Warriors told grand final is not enough

6:17 pm on 27 September 2011

Warriors coach Ivan Cleary's named an unchanged side for Sunday's National Rugby League Grand Final in Sydney.

The Warriors got the rock star treatment at Mt Smart from fans at an open training on Tuesday, though Feleti Mateo and Lance Hohaia didn't train but should be fine to tackle Manly.

Cleary's had 15 years of NRL finals as a player or a coach but the weekend's match will be only his second Grand Final.

He says that's why it's important his players, even the youngest, realise it might not happen again. It's Cleary's last game in charge before taking over at Penrith next year.

Manly forward Tony Williams has entered an early guilty plea to a high tackle charge and is free to face the Warriors.

Referee of the year Shayne Hayne has been overlooked for the grand final with Matt Cecchin to officiate in his first decider alongside veteran whistleblower Tony Archer.
