Young Warriors halfback not worried about grand final stage fright

The Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson has dismissed suggestions that Manly's greater National Rugby League grand final experience will give them a significant advantage in Sunday's premiership decider in Sydney.

Along with most of his teammates, Johnson will be appearing in his first final.

Johnson only made his first grade debut in June but despite having played only 15 matches he's confident there won't be any stage fright.

Only three of the Warriors' 17 strong squad have reached the season finale before - Lance Hohaia in the Warriors' one previous appearance in 2002 and former Parramatta Eels players, Feleti Mateo and Krisnan Inu.

Manly, who've reached the grand final three times in the past five years, have ten players who've experienced the occasion.
