World tennis number one Novak Djokovic has pulled out of next week's China Open after failing to fully recover from a rib and lower back injury.
Djokovic is having his best-ever season, winning three grand slam tournaments, but the 24-year-old Serb retired from a Davis Cup match against Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro this month because of the injury.
