The former All Blacks lock Jason Eaton has re-signed with the Hurricanes for the 2012 Super Rugby season.
The 29-year-old lock made his Super Rugby debut against the Blues in 2006 and has played 63 games for the Hurricanes and 15 Test matches for the All Blacks.
Eaton's decision to remain is somewhat surprising given he was viewed as being part of the group which fell out with coach Mark Hammett, leading the franchise to drop All Blacks Andrew Hore and Ma'a Nonu.
