East Coast will play Wanganui for the Meads Cup provincial rugby title.
East Coast booked their place in the final by beating the defending champions North Otago 23-17 in Oamaru and Wanganui hosted Mid Canterbury in their semi-final, winning 32-22.
And continuing the success story for the east coast of the North Island, Poverty Bay will play South Canterbury in the Lochore Cup final.
Poverty Bay travelled to Westport and won a close encounter 32-30 while South Canterbury hosted Thames Valley and won 30-27.
