The latest addition to the Wellington Phoenix, Cameron Lindsay won't take part in the side's A League football season opener away to Gold Coast United on Sunday.
The 18 year old is still awaiting an international clearance having been part of the academy at English premier league club Blackburn Rovers for the past three years.
His signing also means the Phoenix will have met the competition requirements of a minimum 20 players on their roster as well as three players under 21.
