A 27-year-old American woman completed the Chicago marathon yesterday and then went into labour.
Amber Miller was 39 weeks pregnant when she began the event and says she initially intended only running half the race.
She alternated between running for two miles and walking for two miles throughout the race.
Miller says contractions began when sat down to eat dinner with her family that evening.
