Australian cricket officials reject match fixing claims

Australian cricket officials have rejected claims that Australia's cricketers are the biggest match fixers in the game.

A secret recording of player agent Mazhar Majeed was played to the match fixing trial in London of two former Pakistan players.

Majeed says match-fixing is widespread and Australian players are the biggest culprits

Cricket Australia's James Sutherland says the allegations are baseless and sweeping statements unfairly malign Australian cricketers.

Cricketers Association boss Paul Marsh agrees and says there's no evidence Australian players are involved.

Both say they're confident that the ICC's anti-corruption unit is an effective detterant.
