Brown has faith in Kiwi's debutants

5:23 pm on 16 October 2011

The New Zealand rugby league team will start one of the most inexperienced line-up's in history for tonight's one-off test against the Kangaroos in Newcastle but centre Lewis Brown is more than confident the young stars can rise to the occasion.

The match is the Kiwi's only warm-up ahead before they fly to the UK to begin the defence of their Nations title.

The Kiwi's have named five debutants for this evening's clash, making 25-year-old Brown, who has just one test to his name, one of the more experienced players in the side, but the Warriors star isn't concerned in the slightest.

The match kicks off at 6:05pm.
