The All Blacks coach Graham Henry says loose forward Adam Thomson's greater international experience has earned him a spot on the bench for Sunday night's Rugby World Cup final against France at Eden Park.
In the only change in the matchday 22 from the side that beat Australia, Thomson replaces Victor Vito on the bench.
Thomson, who has played 24 Tests to Vito's 13, has recovered from an ankle injury that has kept him out of their last three matches.
It's again a hugely experienced team, with 708 caps in the starting side, which is again captained by flanker Richie McCaw in his 103rd Test.
McCaw, Jerome Kaino and Kieran Read will become the most capped loose tri in All Blacks history when they play their 21st Test together on Sunday night.
