Henry concedes pressure may have been too much in years past

The All Blacks coach Graham Henry concedes in years gone by his side may not have handled the pressure of Sunday night's Rugby World Cup final.

New Zealand ended a 24-year drought since their first World Cup victory at the inaugural tournament in 1987 with a tense 8-7 win over an inspired French team at Eden Park.

Coach Henry has commended his side for not giving away penalties and being defensively strong against France's relentless second half performance.

Henry says France played particularly well and for his side to hang in there was something they might not have done two or three years ago.
