Breakers looking to cut down on turnovers

12:32 pm on 28 October 2011

The Breakers foward Mika Vukona says if they're beat the Sydney Kings tonight in their fifth Australian National Basktball League match of the season, they'll have to halve the number of turnovers they committed in losing to the Melbourne Tigers last weekend.

The Breakers won easily in Sydney a fortnight ago before losing by three in Melbourne, where they turned over possession 21 times.

Tonight's match is the first of three straight home games, and Vukona says they're excited about the prospect of a crowd of 6,000-plus in Downtown Auckland's Vector Arena.

The Breakers' next two games will be back at the North Shore Events Centre.
