NZ eleven for Zimbabwe test might include two spinners

The Black Caps are set to play two spinners in the one off test against Zimbabwe starting tonight in Bulawayo.

Former skipper Dan Vettori was an automatic selection having joined the squad last week now that he's playing only test matches, while Wellington's Jeetan Patel is also set to start on what is shaping as a very flat batting pitch.

The bowling lineup which struggled at time during the one day series has also been bolstered by pace man Chris Martin who's just one wicket away from becoming the fourth New Zealand bowler to take 200 test wickets.

Martin and Vettori joined the side last week after the one day series which New Zealand won 2-1 and where the top order batsman were in good form but the bowlers struggled.

Wright says they'll make a decision on whether Patel plays just before play.
