Argentina will have the services of their top rugby players for next year's inaugural southern hemisphere Four Nations tournament.

From next year, the Pumas will play Australia, New Zealand and South Africa twice each year, and the Australian Rugby Union's chief executive John O'Neill says the IRB have taken steps to ensure the release of Argentina's leading players, most of whom are attacjed to Eufropean clubs.

O'Neill thinks Argentina's involvement next year will freshen up the tournament as he believes the Tri Nations was getting stale.
