England league team anxious about their skipper

The England rugby league team are anxiously awaiting the results of a scan on their captain Jamie Peacock amid fears he could miss this weekend's crucial Four Nations test against New Zealand.

The veteran Leeds forward received a heavy blow to his leg and left the field during last weekend's loss to Australia at Wembley, but he went back on in the second half after his team suffered two other injuries to forwards.

England and New Zealand are level on points and also have the same points difference, but the Kiwis have a superior points percentage, so a draw this weekend would put them through to the final against Australia.
