Coach Hasler stood down by Manly

Manly's premiership-winning league coach Des Hasler has been stood down by the club and ordered to appear before the board to explain alleged breaches of contract.

Hasler, who last month agreed to a four-year deal to coach Canterbury from 2013, was issued with a breach notice for what Manly chairman Scott Penn described as "serious breaches of contract."

It's been suggested Hasler has tried to induce players to leave Manly and follow him to his new club.
