New Zealand rugby league coach Steve Kearney isn't offering any excuses for the Kiwis' limp exit from the Four Nations at the hands of hosts England.
England booked their place in the tournament decider against Australia after brushing aside the Kiwis 28-6 at Hull's KC Stadium on Sunday.
Kearney praised the winners' performance and says his team didn't play well.
He says the Kiwis gave away silly penalties that really hurt them.
