The New Zealand golf number one Danny Lee has confirmed he will not be playing in next month's New Zealand Open.
Lee, who would have been the major drawcard at the event at Clearwater, has decided to pursue his European Tour card for 2012 and will instead play in the Hong Kong Open.
Lee finished tied for fifth at the Singapore Open last night, moving him inside the top 115 on the Race to Dubai standings.
He is keen to cement his spot inside that cut-off mark for 2012 European Tour cards.
