Terry back for England, but not talking about racial abuse claims

10:40 am on 15 November 2011

John Terry says it is his duty as England football captain to face up to claims he racially abused QPR's Anton Ferdinand.

The Football Association and the Metropolitan Police have begun investigations into the incident during Chelsea's 1-nil loss at Loftus Road last month.

Fabio Capello left Terry on the bench for the 1-nil win over Spain on Sunday, but the England manager has confirmed that the Chelsea defender will return to the side as skipper for the friendly with Sweden tomorrow morning.

At a media conference, the FA blocked specific questions on the incident as the 30-year-old faced the media for the first time since it happened..... he denies any wrongdoing and says it won't be difficult for him to lead out the team....

Capello says he'll be making 8 changes to the team for the Sweden match.
