Clarke concerned about fitness of Ryan Harris

The Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke is sweating on the fitness of fast bowler Ryan Harris before he finalises his team for the second Test against South Africa in Johannesburg.

Harris, who has chronic injury problems, struggled in his recovery from the first Test in Cape Town even though it finished a week ago and only lasted two-and-a-half days.

The leader of the Australian attack bowled as required in the final net session today, starting cautiously, but eventually working up to his full run-up.

Clarke will assess how Harris pulls up on match morning before making his final decision.

Teenager Pat Cummins appears certain of being handed a Test debut, but Harris' availability will determine whether Peter Siddle and Mitchell Johnson can both fit into the eleven or whether one must miss out.

In other team news, Clarke says he'll play spinner Nathan Lyon and Usman Khawaja will come in as a direct swap for the injured Shaun Marsh and bat at number 3.

South Africa are expected to be unchanged from their comprehensive eight-wicket win in the first game in Cape Town.

The Wanderers pitch will provide good carry for the bowlers but a lightning fast outfield will assist the batsmen.
