Northern and Central Districts enjoy comprehensive wins

Northern Districts and Central Districts have achieved innings wins over Wellington and Otago respectively in cricket's four day Plunket Shield competition.

ND has dismissed Wellington for 216 in its second innings at Lincoln giving it an innings and 230 run inside three days after ND made 608 for nine declared, leaving Kane Williamson unbeaten on 284.

Central Districts dismissed Otago for 63 to win by an innings and seven runs, with Michael Mason taking six wickets for CD.

While at stumps on day three at Rangiora Canterbury's 178 for five in its second innings, giving it a 288 run lead over Auckland, with five second innings wickets in hand.
