The Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been charged by the English Football Association for alleged racial abuse towards Manchester United's Patrice Evra.
The incident occurred in Liverpool's 1-1 draw with United at Anfield last month.
Liverpool says Suarez will plead not guilty to the charge.
The row is one of two high-profile racism incidents being investigated by the FA.
The other inolves allegations against Chelsea and England captain John Terry that he racially insulted Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand during a Premier League game.
