New Zealand netball coach Wai Taumaunu thinks the fourth quarter meltdowns the Silver Ferns experienced in their recent Test series loss against Australia may have been down to a lack of fitness.
The side leaves for England on Sunday to play in the short format FastNet competition in Liverpool next weekend.
During last month's series against Australia the Silver Ferns managed to establish substantial leads only to surrender them in the final quarter.
Taumaunu believes that may come down to their fitness and it's something she will be concentrating on when the team comes together for a summer training camp in the New Year.
